Novelettes wanted!

Petrol Queen
I never thought the day would come when I'd start my own zine, but recent events on the good ol' internez have inspired me. I've always thought that there aren't enough venues for that oddball of fiction forms, the novelette. Now a novelette is defined by SFWA as a work of short fiction between 7,500 and 17,499 words. Sorry, but I'm going to be a bit more restrictive. It won't matter if your story is SF, fantasy, horror, slipstream, steampunk or transvestite robot fic, but it must be exactly 10,000 words.

Why 10k? It fits in with the short fiction pay rate I've set up. My goal is to start the lowest paying zine in history (and earn the wrath of John Scalzi!), so I shall be buying First North America Serial Rights for the prestigious sum of $0.000042 a word. Payment to be made in this form of legal tender.

Send us your best! We're a highly crapetitive market.

ETA: I've got everything set: slush readers, copyeditors, mimeograph operators. Everything except the name of this highly crapetitive zine. Any suggestions? $100.00 in Super-Sekrit Clubhouse money for the most crapetitive name.
